Frequently asked questions about tooth extraction

Thanks to modern anaesthetic techniques and an anaesthetic that is more effective than lidocaine, tooth extraction is completely painless.

Most patients are completely symptom-free within a few days after tooth extraction and only take 2-3 painkillers in total. However, heavy physical activity should be avoided for 1 week after tooth extraction.

Not always. If you're in pain, we can help you get rid of it. In some cases, tooth extraction can be performed during the first visit. A preliminary consultation helps build trust between doctor and patient and helps determine the best treatment plan for you. The decision is in your hands.

Local anaesthesia is used, but it is also possible to use a guided anaesthetic, so that the entire lower jaw, the front of the face and the palate can be completely anaesthetised if necessary.
